CAN HELP BE IMMEDIATE: Yes, referral and diagnostic
procedures will begin immediately. Temporary placement
is possible prior to an Educational Planning and Placement
Committee meeting.
SUPPORTED BY: East China School District, Intermediate-School
District Special Ed. Tax, State and Federal Funds.
PROGRAM/SERVICES DESCRIPTION: There is a broad range
of programs and services available to all handicapped
youngsters in the St. Clair River area.
Basic Classroom Programs for Early Childhood Special
Education, Educable Mentally Impaired, Emotionally Impaired,
Hearing-Impaired, Physically or otherwise Health Impaired,
Learning Disabled, Trainable Mentally Impaired/Severely
Mentally Impaired.
Supportive Services include Teacher Consultants for
the Educable Mentally Impaired, Learning Disabled, Visually
Impaired, School Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physically
or otherwise Health Impaired.
