FEES: There is no fee for services. However, there
may be costs generated through filing, serving,
publication, or other processings.
ELIGIBILITY: Clients must be either senior citizens
or have a low income. Client assets are also taken
into account when deciding eligibility.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Telephone intake or walk-in.
If under 60 years of age, prospective clients should
first call the “Help-Line”.
CAN HELP BE IMMEDIATE: Yes, depending upon established
priorities and caseload demand.
SUPPORTED BY: Area Agency on Aging, St. Clair County,
and personal contributions.
PROGRAM/SERVICES DESCRIPTION: Provides legal assistance
to seniors and certain low-income individuals regardless
of race, creed or color. Civil non-fee generating
cases only.
