PROGRAM/SERVICES DESCRIPTION:
Girl Scouting is a program for girls 5 through 17 (kindergarten through high school) under leadership of trained adult volunteers.

Girl Scout program is a continued adventure in learning that offers girls a broad range of activities that address both their current interests and their future roles as women. Through activities that stimulate self-discovery, girls are introduced to excitement in worlds of science, the arts, the out-of-doors and people. Contemporary issues programs in Substance Abuse, Building Girl Self-Esteem, coping with stresses in family life and leading girls to mathematics, science and technology skills, prepare girls and leaders to cope with issues facing today's youth. Girls grow in leadership, skill and self-confidence. They have fun, they make new friends, and through meaningful community services, they acquire understanding about themselves and others.
